When you first set up your blog, you’re in the dilemma of putting detailed post on your main page or just put a description of the content of each post. If you put the full post, most likely, if you want to display multiple post per page, is that the load is slow for users and force them to escrolear more to see every post on every page.  In the case of putting only the description, users can view an outline of the post you publish without having to load all the detail, and would visit only the news that capture your interest, without having to carry around for fun.

The effect of this decision also affects the SEO of your blog, as some search engines penalize duplicate content on the Internet. So if you main page posts in detail, its contents also appear within each post, creating a penalty in search engines, making our ranking in search results decreases.

The penalty for duplicate content URLs only affects newer and different from the original. This means that if there is duplicate content on the same site, it is not penalized for belonging to the same URL. But if another site has copied content from another site, google penalizes the most recent web. I saw this in the Webmaster Central Blog

For these advantages and disadvantages is that I have decided to use only the descriptions in the list of blog post.
