Manager web pages for excellence has released a new update. WordPress reaches version 3.0.5, and focuses its developments to ensure the stability and strength of one of the most used CMS blogging (and other sites, although not designed for it)
The main changes to its previous version have had to do with the security settings of the webs collaborative reinforcing potential bugs that could give extra privileges to users with only one level of author (or those who can not only add entries, unable to handle administrative aspects of the page)
They have also increased Security plugins, the most likely to serve as input to possible attacks on a website run from WordPress.
This new version can be accessed by all users of WordPress in your own server, just use the automatic update or download the package from The Official Website. This update does nothing but fix bugs, so in principle should not create extra complications.
Since implementing MultiWeb mode, WordPress has radically changed the level. And it has grown from a simple CMS focused on the creation of blogs to be one of the most complete tools for creating self-managed websites I know.
