traffic 300x267 Tips to generate traffic to our blogSometimes we complain that our blog, that we work with all our effort and dedication, not the views that we think deserves.  First we must be clear that, fortunately, there are many blogs, many people very different views. There are those who are professionals in some field, those who are fans and those simply looking for an escape route in his writings and let your imagination.

Thus, competition is great and very diverse. It is clear that if we write in a blog tool that in principle gives rise to public comments, we’d like to receive views on it and if we leave a comment for the better.

But how can we get these unwanted and unexpected visits to our web site or blog? There are several strategies that can help it. They are not always 100% effective but it sure will allow us to get closer to what we propose: more traffic:

Objective: be clear what we want to pass along our posts. If we have a strategy to follow will be much easier to follow a thread. If one day, in a blog of new technologies, we report the day so much fun that we spent today (without justification), it will be strange going to miss the target we had set. That may cause our fans confused, not see the sense in what we have written and stop being faithful. This, as content is concerned. The type of blog also will mark a target. It is not the same a corporate blog, which one we use as a personal journal, personal one where we give to professional knowledge.

Contents: If part of a loose content, which adds nothing to our potential readers or often repeated frequently, we will produce boring to anyone who reads us, if it does …

Links: These are great creators of traffic. If we talk about Twitter, why not place a link from our blog we link to the home of this social network? And if we know bind, other bloggers will do so on our behalf. You may mention in its pages with a link to us if something we talk about that interesting or that has to do with
content.

Key words: it is essential to consider some specific tags that will make us much more visible in search engines and, consequently, improve SEO positioning. If these keywords we know them strategically placed in the headlines and first paragraph of our post, search engines we will have much more in mind.

Comment: never hurts to leave our comments on another blog not before think we should leave a mark with the URL of our blog. If in addition to our valued comment URL can deliver value, we will be more likely to click on the link and thus swell the visits.

Frequency: always write the same frequency (approximately) helps to create a routine in the reader. We will lose credibility and visitors if published irregularly. It is true that a blog is something entirely personal, and as such, we can manage it as more we want, but fact is that going to help if we create a custom flyer on our blog.

Promotion: you have to have some self-esteem and to advertise our content in a friendly way for our readers. This is not smash with everything published, but provide information that may be of interest on time. Why not announce that we have published if we believe the content is worth to be read? For something we will have released and if we can give a push to make it more visible, perfect!

Make own: with everything that we discussed earlier, failure to give coherence to the whole of our blog. For example, if I have completed kindergarten and I have a blog of educational resources for children 4 years would not be very consistent that the colors were black and white. It would be very elegant, but had nothing to do with our content. And talk about business, it can be a good idea not to use Comic Sans font style. They are, what we might think, nonsense, but that deep down everyone you care about, fixing and makes them decide whether to continue reading the blog or leave it in a corner.

So as you can see, with a pinch of logic mixed with a little knowledge of SEO can create a blog that is consolidated gradually. It is not a recipe to get views and comments, but matters which, with patience, can serve a lot.
