I have tried on many occasions DVD Movies, with free tools and sometimes even pay, however, usually, the obtained quality of the DVD movie is not the most appropriate. Maybe not done as it was but these days I tested (for curiosity) DVD Maker which was already included in (failed system) Windows Vista, and is also in the new Windows 7.

The program includes different styles (predefined) which are very showy, but equally you can customize how you want to be seen. Windows DVD Maker allows you to create DVDs in NTSC and PAL, with aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9 (width-height ratio of the video), DVD also adjust behaviors. Play before or after the menu, etc..

Moreover Windows DVD Maker lets you customize the menu text, giving you a preview (real time) of the changes that you made. Similarly, you can add background audio to the DVD menu, change the font, add a video “sample” the best of all: you can make a presentation style with images and audio to display on your video DVD.
